Cardiologist Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Health System in Upstate NY

A health system is seeking a cardiologist for locum tenens coverage.Upstate New York is filled with beautiful sights to see like Niagara Falls, Watkins Glenn State Park, and the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum!The schedule for this position is 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Hospital call is required on weeknights and weekends, with the client typically requesting a call rate that includes callback hours, although call volume is generally minimal. Responsibilities include handling stress tests, readings, and nuclear medicine (neucs) procedures. There is no cardiac surgery performed at the facility, so all such cases are referred out. Candidates must be board-certified (BC) and hold a New York license. The facility uses Allscripts for its EMR system.
