Cardiologist Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Facility in Northwestern Georgia

A hospital is seeking a cardiologist for locum tenens coverage.The facility is located in northwest Georgia.The facility is seeking a board-certified Cardiologist (MD/DO) to provide inpatient coverage due to increased volume and the search for permanent providers. The assignment runs from approximately 120 days post-credentialing through December, with a Monday-Friday schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM and a 1:4 weekday/weekend call. Responsibilities include reading noninvasive tests (treadmills, echos, nuclear studies, and TEEs) and rounding on the hospital's cardiology service line, with an average daily census of 30-40 patients and 5-10 admissions/consults. The provider will have APP support on-site all day, along with noninvasive and interventionalist support, as well as anesthesia coverage. No clinic duties are required.
